Jagdish Chandra resigns as CEO  ETV News Network

Jagdish Chandra has resigned as CEO of ETV News Network, ending his eight year tenure with ETV confirm industry sources.
Chandra was a senior administrator in Rajasthan before he took voluntary retirement in 2008 to join ETV Madhya Pradesh and ETV Rajasthan and also head the editorial section.
 According to the last quarter report by Panorama Television (a part of the TV 18 group, which is owned by Reliance Industries Ltd. Pvt. Limited), ETV network  registered an ad revenue growth of 75% over the previous year (FY15-16).
The Panorama Television Pvt Ltd, owns and operates ten Regional News Channels under the brand of ETV, and launched three new channels in April last year under the News18 brand.
Both Chandra and Rahul Joshi could not be reached at the time of filing the report.
Other senior exits from the group include Senthil Chengalvarayan, editor-in-chief, Business Newsroom, Anil Uniyal- CEO for CNBC TV 18, CNBC Awaaz and Forbes India, Sanjay Pugalia- Editor of CNBC Awaaz and CNBC Bajar and senior journalist  Menaka Doshi.
