Shishir Sinha quits ABP to join The Hindu Business Line

Sinha has joined The Hindu Business Line as Senior Deputy Editor. This is his second stint with the newspaper

Senior business journalist Shishir Sinha has quit ABP News and joined English daily The Hindu Business Line as Senior Deputy Editor. This is Sinha’s second stint with the newspaper. He will work out of the Delhi office of The Hindu Business Line.

He was with ABP News for more than two and a half years as its Business Editor. Before joining ABP, Sinha worked with The Hindu Business Line as Deputy Editor from July 2011 to September 2015.

Sinha has more than two decades of journalism experience and has worked in both English and Hindi medium. He started his journalism career in 1994 with Bhasha, the Hindi division of the Press Trust of India. He then went on to work with the Rashtriya Sahara and Amar Ujala.

Sinha entered broadcast journalism in 1998 with Hindi news channel Aaj Tak. After a long stint with Aaj Tak, he joined CNBC Awaaz in August 2005. He worked there as the Deputy Bureau Chief till July 2011.
