Narayan Krishnamurthy, the Editor of Outlook Money, a personal finance magazine, has quit from the position. Friday, October 27 will be his last day. “I am at the last leg of my stay at Outlook Money, but not the fag end of knowing you all and with you,” Krishamurthy wrote in an internal email sent to the employees.

Krishnamurthy’s association with Outlook Group goes back to 2005 when he joined the group as Senior Special Correspondent and worked for around a year. Meanwhile, he worked with Money Times, Fortune India and Financial Planning Standards Board and took charge of Outlook Money from Uadayan Ray in October 2014.

Ray was promoted from the post of Executive Editor after Monika Halan quit Outlook Money in January 2013 alleging interference from Outlook Group’s management in editorial matters.

However, in Krishnamurthy’s case, a source in Outlook Money told exchange4media, “Editorial comes first for him and he works closely with the reporters and designers. He never seemed to be disturbed by the interference, maybe, and because he is quite bold to keep them at bay.”

exchange4media has written to Krishnamurthy and is awaiting his response.
