According to industry sources, Uday Nirgudkar has taken charge as Editor of the national daily

DNA's Editor-In-Chief CP Surendran quits

CP Surendran, Editor-in-Chief at DNA, has put in his papers. He tweeted: "Just put in my papers at the DNA. Feel pretty good with what I have done here."

Surendran has worked with The Times of India, Times Sunday Review and Bombay Times, among other publications. He was also Resident Editor of The Times of India, Pune for three years.

Surenderan is a well known name in the poetry circles and has published three collections of poetry. A selection of his poems was included in Gemini II in 1994. He has published an independent collection of poems, ‘Posthumous Poems’, in 2000 as well.

According to media reports, Uday Nirgudkar has taken charge as Editor of DNA. Nirgudkar has worked at IL&FS, Godrej Lawkim, Aptech, Kores and Forbes, and Forbes & Campbell.
