Week 1, 2019: Trivago leads BARC Top 10 Brands

In the Top 10 Advertisers list, FMCG majors Hindustan Lever, Reckitt Benckiser, and ITC Ltd were in the top three spots

Trivago topped the BARC Top 10 Brands (December 29-January 4, 2019) with 10,883 insertions. Santoor Sandal and Turmeric took the second spot with 9742 insertions. Harpic climbed to the third spot with 9591 insertions.

Dettol Toilet Soaps and Roop Mantra Ayur Face Cream were at the fourth and fifth positions with 8645 and 8546 insertions respectively. Dr. Ortho Oil and Capsule climbed to the sixth spot with 8531 insertions.

Harpic Power Plus and Pet Saffa entered the category at seventh and ninth spots with 8345 and 7125 insertions respectively. Phonepe slipped to the eighth spot with 7798 insertions. Dettol Liquid Soap took the tenth spot at 6912 insertions.  

In the same week, in the BARC Top 10 Advertisers list, FMCG majors Hindustan Lever, Reckitt Benckiser, and ITC Ltd continued to lead with 1,12,536, 86,436 and 38,479 insertions, respectively. Procter & Gamble also retained its fourth spot with 36,568 insertions.

Ponds India maintained its fifth spot with 28,889 insertions. SBS Biotech took the sixth spot with 24,202 insertions. Wipro, Brooke Bond Lipton India, and Colgate Palmolive India forayed in the seventh and eighth spot with 23,719, 20,732 and 19,791 insertions respectively. Cadbury’s India took the tenth spot with 18,484 insertions.
