Vu Technologies, a California-based company, had announced its entry in the Indian market in July last year. The company specialises in the business of providing luxury technology products like high-end computers, LCD displays, digital home and other electronic gadgets. As of today, the company has only six stores in India, but is in the process of expanding its market with 30 more stores to be launched by the end of 2008.

Commenting on the company’s vision and future plans, Devita Saraf, CEO, Vu Technologies, said, “Vu Technologies aims at being the coolest, the most trusted and one of the most respected brands in the business of technology products. We want to expand our market in India, and hence we are planning to open 30 stores in major towns and cities of India by the end of 2008. On the marketing side, we are targeting organisations like OOH Media, Lakshya Media, Intelvision and many others.”

Saraf further said that the company was a family-promoted organisation, and that all funds for the expansion would be raised from people close to the company and from within the family.
