Radio Mango launches World Cup themed roadshow campaign 

Radio Mango has teamed up with Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza for 'Duckworth Lewis' campaign

Are you an avid cricket buff? You would agree how frustrating it is when rain plays spoilsport to a game you pinned all your hopes on. At times like this, the trusted Duckworth Lewis method helps decide the fate of the game.

During this year's World Cup too, rain came in the way of many games and the Duckworth Lewis method had to be used for a favourable outcome. This monsoon season, Radio Mango teamed up with Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza to launch a world-cup-themed statewide roadshow campaign titled 'Duckworth Lewis'.

The flagoff to the roadshow was conducted in Kochi on July 5 by Malayalam actor Vinay Forrt in the presence of Ravindran Nair, Programme Director, Radio Mango and R. Suresh Babu, Regional Head -Kerala, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., at Radio Mango Head office.

While the 2019 ICC World Cup is inching closer to the final stage, interested participants can be a part of the fun and entertainment 'Duckworth Lewis' has to offer with cricket-based fun games like Tap the Ball, One Pitch, Hit the Stumps, Drop & Catch and a host of interesting games. The game also features a musical-quiz round. A song will be played in the background while the MC asks questions related to cricket & Vitara Brezza. The participants must give interesting answers rapidly, until at a random point, the song will be intercepted with the sound of rain. If they successfully last till the end, they get to win goodies.

It is well known that the monsoons in Kerala lasts for around 6 months each year and incessant rains can hamper our journeys and play havoc to our plans. This is the reason Radio Mango teamed up with Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, a car that's loaded with efficient features like rain-sensing wipers and auto headlamps to tackle the rains.

A uniquely re-branded Vitara Brezza would travel across Kerala for 20 days, inviting people to try their luck and win attractive cricketing merchandise.
