OMD India wins media duties of Star Health’s campaign next qtr

Star Health Insurance has handed over its media duties to OMD India for upcoming campaigns next quarter, sources have confirmed the development to e4m. The pitch for digital and creative duties is still on and the top six agencies are competing as of now, as per the source.
“OMD India was working with us on digital already and now we have given them a traditional project too,” they said.
The integrated media account was previously held by Wavemaker India.
OMD India bagged new business wins worth USD 54 million in the first half of 2024, according to the report by COMvergence.
Back in 2012 as well, Star Health also parked its media mandate with OMD India. The account size was estimated to be Rs 10-12 crore back then.
OMD India currently holds the accounts of various leading brands like McDonald’s, Sugar Cosmetics, Nivea India and more.
Tata Consumer Products, whose incumbent agency was Wavemaker as well, has called for a pitch for its integrated media mandate recently.
