IPG Mediabrands retains Amazon Global Media Mandate worth $1bn

e-commerce giant Amazon has consolidated its global media buying business with IPG Mediabrands after a review. The IPG team will promote Amazon’s ecommerce hub, assorted tech products and Prime subscription service around the world, according to adweek.
The review’s final round saw a Publicis Media conglomerate face off against a “holistic solution” group consisting of teams drawn from multiple IPG agencies including Initiative, said the report.
The account size in India alone is estimated to be Rs 1,000 crore plus that includes spends across all mediums.
