Graphixstory wins creative challenge to design limited edition Absolut Vodka bottle bags
Five pieces of work have been selected by Absolut and Pernod Ricard from 500+ designs sent from all over the world for the location inspired edition
Kolkata based media agency Graphixstory wins the creative challenge to design the Canada chapter of Absolut Vodka’s Limited Edition paper bags. The paper bag designed by Graphixstory will now be used in the upcoming location inspired limited edition in Canada.
Absolut known for its iconic Vodka bottle, inspired by an 18th century medicine bottle found in an antique store in Stockholm after the success of Absolut's partnership with Talenthouse in 2018 in its second edition has declared 5 winners across the world.
Five pieces of work have been selected by Absolut and Pernod Ricard from 500+ designs sent from all over the world for the location inspired edition. The locations selected for the challenge were Sydney, Auckland, Canada, Fiji, and Beirut respectively.
Graphixstory chose Canada for their design pitch. “Perhaps the most emblematic things about Canada are its colors – red and white, hence it forms a major part of the entire artwork with red and white being the primary hues. This artwork titled “Canadian Hues” is an attempt to best portray Canada. It includes the CN Tower in Toronto, The Montreal Observation Wheel, Canada's famous maple leaves, and one of its favorite animals, Moose. We have also tried to portray a representation of the absolutely beautiful Yosemite National Park and the Pink Lake,” said Ritika Barua, creative lead at Graphixstory.
“Creatives are a big part of branding strategy and communication. We believe our design will convey the brand message for Absolut in Canada through their limited edition,” added Barua.
The selected artists will not only have their design produced into the Limited Edition paper bag design for sale during 2019 but in the location represented in the design they will also be promoted Absolut and Pernod Ricard social media pages
