At the e4m D2C Awards 3.0, Tarun Joshi, the Founder & CEO, IGP was awarded the ‘Best D2C Gamechanger Entrepreneur of The Year Male’ award. The dazzling awards ceremony was held on September 19 in Gurugram in presence of industry luminaries, thought leaders and experts from D2C ecosystem in India.

Joshi is the Founder of Join Ventures, India's fastest-growing D2C platform, which owns IGP.com, the online gifting company and Interflora.in, the flower delivery service in India & worldwide. In addition, he is an active angel investor in Indian start-ups with investments in E-commerce, Financial Services, Technology and Consumer companies.

Tarun is a highly experienced tech entrepreneur, angel investor, aeronautical scientist and Direct to Consumer (D2C) industry leader. He comes with over 12 years of investing experience at two of the world's leading private equity firms (3i and CVCI), where he successfully led & managed investments of over $500 million in India.

Tarun started his career as a Scientist with DRDO, where he played a crucial role in designing the flight control systems for India's first lightweight, high-agility supersonic fighter aircraft - Tejas, that entered service with the Indian Air Force (IAF) in July 2016. As a part of a pioneering initiative, he then designed the world's first biometric ATM that harnessed the power of technology to overcome language barriers and facilitated the financial inclusion of low-income microfinance consumers in India.

The e4m D2C Awards 3.0 recognised and celebrated the outstanding efforts of brands, marketers, and campaigns that have set noteworthy benchmarks within the direct- to-consumer ecosystem.
