As part of its promotion campaign for its new soap called Marumagal, Vijay TV is calling up viewers and playing a recorded voice message of the actress Khushbu using an interactive voice recorder (IVR). This promotion is being done across 2.5 lakh phone lines in Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai. Vijay TV claims this promotion is the first of its kind on South Indian television.
In this message, Khushbu tells you about her role in Marumagal (Daughter-in-law) and invites you to tune into the channel at a particular time.
Vijay TV introduced a gamut of new programmes recently. It is now backing these programmes by extensive advertising and promotions.
