I am delighted to see ‘Everyday Happiness with Hershey Goodness’ nominated for an Abby. The Hershey Goodness Heroes is Hershey India's way of celebrating people who are making a real difference in the lives of others. Through this campaign, we were able to make Hershey’s Goodness Heroes a property which brought together social causes and branding to create a multi-dimensional messaging. Using an integrated media strategy of Print, Social Media and Radio, we were able to amplify the campaign and increase its reach across our target audiences. I am looking forward to this campaign coming out trumps at the awards.

More than 45,000 mothers die each year in India due to lack of quality care. ‘Manyata: #DontForgetMoms’ is a campaign that aims to rally private maternity care providers, and other stakeholders to come together to improve quality of service to mothers. When we assessed the gravity of the situation, we pledged that no mother should die giving birth to a child, and charged on to drive awareness for quality care, and the need for public and private sector to come together on a common platform to address the issue of maternal mortality. We at Weber Shandwick are proud of the momentum we have achieved for this movement.

It resonated the brand promise of celebrating the ‘Power of Knowledge’, gave a sense of ‘Now or Never’ and echoed well with today’s result-oriented youth with a call to act now. We hope that the success of KBC will continue here as well. This year's Indian Idol - ‘Yeh Manch Nahi Rishta Hai, Jo Bharat Ko Bharat Se Jodta Hai’ was yet another exciting journey in making some of the most talented singers across the country become household names. Hope this will also find itself in the winning corner!

A lot of constructive changes have been made this year in the rules and judging process. So, I am expecting to see The Abbys in an all new light. The best creative minds have come together to judge the work. I'm sure it will go a long way in making Goafest a clean and transparent award while also increasing the standard of work that wins, something which was much needed for the betterment of our industry. A Product Design and Activation idea for Murcyleen Peerzada Label – ‘The Healthy Abaya’ is one of our best works, and I am hoping it will stand out and be appreciated.
