India has added 16 new shortlists at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2025, with entries recognised in the Classic, Experience and Strategy categories.

Classic Category: 1 Shortlist

India has secured one shortlist in the Film Lion subcategory of the Classics category for challenger brand. The campaign was "We Broke The Jinx. We Won The World Cup" by Jim Jam, Jim Jam Pops. The Womb, Mumbai is the agency behind this campaign.

Experience Category: 13 Shortlists

India has bagged a total of 13 shortlists in the Experience category, across two subcategories - Creative Business Transformation and Creative Commerce.

Creative Business Transformation - 4 Shortlists

1. ‘Lucky Yatra’ for Indian Railways, by FCB India, Mumbai

     ● Transformative Strategy

     ● Targeting, Insights & Personalisation

2. ‘Project Early Periods’ for P&G Whisper, by Leo Burnett, Mumbai

     ● Brand Purpose & Impact

3. 'Eye Test Menu' for Titan Company Limit

There are no Indian shortlists in the Luxury subcategory under Experience.

Strategy Category: 2 Shortlists

India has secured two shortlists in the Creative Effectiveness subcategory of the Strategy category:

1. ‘Dabba Savings Account’ for ESAF Small Finance Bank, by McCann, Gurgaon

      ● For Acquisition

2. 'Erase Valentine’s Day’ for Mondelez Cadbury 5 Star Chocolate, by Ogilvy Mumbai 

       ● Challenger Brand

There are no Indian shortlists in the Creative Strategy subcategory.

With these additions, India’s tally for the day stands at 16 new shortlists, strengthening its presence at the prestigious global platform.

The Cannes Lions Awards Shows will be held from Monday, June 16 to Friday, June 20, 2025, with further shortlist announcements expected in the coming days.
