Tara Sinha

Advertising veteran Tara Sinha has reportedly passed away. Sinha has spent more than 50 years in the fields of Advertising, Public Relations, External Affairs, Issues Management and Corporate Communications. She was also a recognised advisor in marketing.

Sinha began her career with S H Benson, London in 1952 and was the Founder Director of Clarion Advertising Services Limited, later Clarion-McCann Advertising Services Limited.

Sinha was a columnist and a speaker on advertising and quality of life communications and wrote two columns, one in a national daily and the other a marketing and advertising journal.

She was also a member of several organisations, including Governing Council of India Habitat Centre, the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, the Delhi Advertising Club, India, Market Research Society, UK and the Association of Qualitative Research Practitioners, UK.
