Taproot's Santosh Padhi on jury panel for International Andy Awards 2014
Padhi is the only Indian in the jury panel for this year. The jury panel is chaired by David Droga. The judging process will take place in Shanghai at the end of February
Santosh Padhi, Chief Creative Officer & Co-Founder, Taproot India will be part of the jury panel for International Andy Awards 2014. He is the only Indian in the jury for this year.
Commenting on the development, Padhi said, “Last year, I had to skip out at the last minute, but I’m happy to be invited again on the 50th anniversary. Andy is one of the reputed award shows in the world. It’s difficult to get an Andy, as for years they have maintained a standard. They always get the best minds in our industry to do justice to the output of the show and I’m very happy to be part of this elite panel, which is chaired by David Droga.”
The International Andy Awards are celebrating 50 years of recognising and honouring creative contributions by individuals and companies that raise the bar higher in the field of advertising.
The International Andy Awards are given by a jury of internationally distinguished creative directors. The awards are given to both single and campaign executions with respect to product, service and technique categories.
Contenders compete for Bronze, Silver and Gold Andy Awards. Winners also compete to win the highest honour, the Grandy.
The judging process will take place in Shanghai at the end of February 2014, where 26 global creative minds will pick some of the best creative work that the industry produced last year.
