OMD ends the year with a bang; adds new biz worth more than Rs 115 cr
The agency has bagged five new media mandates; they include Go Daddy, Cisco, Carat Lane, LifeCell and TimesPro
2013 has been a good year for OMD and the agency is ending the year on a high note as well with five new media mandates.
The combined size of these new businesses is more than Rs 115 crore, confirm industry sources.
The agency has added Go Daddy, a privately held internet domain registrar and web hosting company. It was recently in the news for its acquisition of web hosting service provider Media Temple.
The second account added by the Group is Cisco, a renowned brand in the IT space.
The third account is Carat lane, one of India’s leading e-commerce company, which is in the news for its aggressive campaigns and visibility this year.
Interestingly, the Group has added diverse accounts to its portfolio across domains. The media duties for LifeCell is one such account. Lifecell is positioned as India’s largest and most accredited stem cell bank.
TimesPro from the Times Group is another of OMG’s illustrious wins. TimesPro creates and delivers high-involvement career-oriented courses that enhance the skill-sets of graduates to the levels required of a professional.
While some of these business wins were results of multi-agency pitches, other accounts have been awarded to OMD on the back of past work done.
