Nirma Advance's latest ad featuring Hrithik Roshan gets 1.3 mn views on YouTube in 2 days
The ad conceptualised by Purnima Advertising was trending on Twitter on Wednesday
Washing powder Nirma Advance has got an unusual ambassador this time to endorse their product, leaving everyone quite surprised. Conceptualised by Purnima Advertising, the latest television ad titled ‘Naye Zamane Ke Ziddi Daagon Ke Liye’ features Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan doing his famous dance moves while removing stains from his clothes. Among other male celebrities endorsing detergent brands are Salman Khan for Wheel, Boman Irani and Amitabh Bachchan for Rin ads.
According to the website TweetReach, hashtag ‘NirmaAdvance TVC’ which was trending on Twitter has reached around 268,875 accounts and has garnered 635,623 impressions by Wednesday afternoon. Also the video has got more than 1.3 million views on YouTube within two days of its release on the platform.
Last year, Nirma Advance launched their ad with the tagline ‘Jo Chahiye, Wo Chahiye’ which conveyed that advanced India is stubborn and can go to any lengths to achieve what they really want.
Also around five years back, Nirma returned with their second-most popular property ‘Hema, Rekha, Jaya and Sushma’ after the iconic Nirma girl communication and launched their campaign which showed the lead ladies getting their hands dirty while pushing out an ambulance stuck in a pit, while the men just stood and watch. This ad was different from the earlier one where spotless white sari-clad happy mothers and frock-clad girls were shown with Nirma detergent packs in their hands.
