McCann Worldgroup adds business worth Rs 50 crore to kitty

McCann Worldgroup India has won the creative mandate for Intel and Livguard. Both accounts will be serviced out of the agency’s Delhi office

McCann Worldgroup adds business worth Rs 50 crore to kitty

McCann Worldgroup India has added two big accounts to its kitty by bagging the creative mandate for Intel and Livguard.

The account size for each of the brand is estimated to be around Rs 20 to Rs 25 crore. Both will be serviced out of the agency’s Delhi office.

Whereas Intel’s global agency is Wyden and Kennedy, McCann Worldgroup campaign aims at driving incremental sales for personal computers in the market with the Intel chip inside. The print and radio phase of the initiative are currently out. The agency’s mandate at present involves Intel’s PC business; the agency leverages its specialist division MRM for the campaign, which is handling the digital and activation leg.

The second business win is Livguard. Started by Luminous Inverters, the brand product portfolio includes mobile batteries, chargers, mobile assessors and digital stabilisers. It has appointed cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar as its brand ambassador.

The agency is currently working on the campaign, and the first phase is scheduled to be out in a few weeks.

Both the wins come from the agency’s Delhi Office and add to the agency’s bouquet of other key accounts in Delhi including Coca Coca, General Motors, Perfetti, Mastercard, UNICEF and Nestle.

The account wins were confirmed by McCann Worldgroup officials.
