In the video commercial, Kalki begins with a quick step-by-step guide on her hair transformation journey using the L’Oréal Paris Casting Crème Gloss Hair Color in the Shade 550 - Mahogany. She takes the viewers through the step-by-step process of hair coloring at home, it is easy to follow, hassle free and quick. The video ends with her showing off the results, super smooth, and glossy hair; a complete transformation.

Sharing her views on the campaign Kalki Koechlin said, “With salons being shut for a long time, I was looking forward to some DIY hair transformation and this was a great opportunity. I enjoyed documenting my experience with L’Oréal Paris Casting Crème Gloss and I absolutely loved my transformation. This year has been challenging for everyone, we are constantly juggling between responsibilities and taking care of ourselves is also as important. I truly believe self-care is self-worth and now, more than ever, we are all worth it.”

Talking about the campaign, Pau Gruart, General Manager L’Oréal Paris, added, “At L’Oréal Paris, we believe that hair color journeys are best showcased with real, relatable examples that bring to life the apprehensions people have on coloring their hair at home. With this new campaign we were glad to partner with Kalki Koechlin who was bold to come forward and document with us her hair color journey from her home.”
