Santha John, who had resigned from her post as Chairman Emeritus, JWT Mindset in March, has retained her stake in the company. She is also the Founder & Director of CoachLife.asia. John who has been Managing Director of JWT Mindset for 15 years, was appointed as Chairman Emeritus in 2014.

According to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) website, Santha John joined JWT Mindset as a Director in 1998.

In a statement given to exchange4media, John raised several allegations against the company and majority shareholders. She said, “Ever since I saw a flash report of JWT Mindset of Rs 5 crore profit there has been silence from the majority shareholders. The Company had stopped filing returns before the ROC. Deloitte was appointed for the audit of the company, however, even after a year the audit still seems to be going on.”

The statement further mentioned, “I fail to understand why the audit would take so long and why the reasons for the delay are not communicated to me. I have received a notice from ROC stating that if the annual statements are not filed, then penal action would be taken against the Directors of the company. Despite this, the management of the company has kept silent and chose not to take any corrective measures.”

She also alleged that the business of the company is being diverted to other branches in Chennai and Bangalore and the existing employees have been demotivated by the management of the company. “All my protests against this have been ignored. I have repeatedly brought these events to the notice of the management; however, I was always ignored. I have been forced to resign as Chairman Emeritus of JWT Mindset,” John said.

Responding to John's allegations, in a statement to exchange4media, a Mindset spokesperson said, “Certain matters regarding Mindset are being enquired into and further comment is not possible at this stage. We remain committed to our clients and our operations in the city.”
