Hasbro launches 'Grab and Go' range in India with new TVC

Hasbro Inc, a global play and entertainment company has introduced the “Grab and Go” range of games in India with its latest television commercial. The Grab and Go range has entertaining and interesting family favourite games (Monopoly, Connect 4, Battleship, Cluedo, Guess Who?, Trouble, and Sorry) in a new format that can be played anywhere, at home or on the go. With a rise in travel and exploration trips in India, the Grab and Go range is the ideal gaming option for long journeys, entertain children who might be bored and possibly make new friends. These favourite family games are now available as a new gaming experience in a convenient and travel-friendly pack.

The television commercial features a family of four travelling in a train wondering what they can do with their time. They are introduced to the Grab and Go games which uplifts their mood and makes their journey far more enjoyable.

Keeping in mind the role of toys and games in the lives of our consumers especially during key moments, we developed this range that consumers of all ages will enjoy. The Grab and Go range ensures an exciting and interesting gaming experience anytime, anywhere with family or group of friends,” said Bhavesh Somaya, Country Manager, India and the Middle East, Hasbro. “With the range of popular games in a travel-friendly version, we aim to bring different generations of families and friends together for fun and meaningful interactions.”

The script and storyboard were developed by Cake Mix Studios, Hasbro’s in-house creative agency. The film has been created and developed by Workship Creative Solution, a content company based in Mumbai.

“Train journeys in India are about bonding with the family and making new friends. While directing this film, my primary focus was to bring alive the moments of joy that all of us have experienced while playing these games. I have grown up playing the Monopoly game and this film brought back many such happy memories.” says Ashish Biswas, the director of the film.

Each game in the Grab and Go range is INR 399 and is available at all leading toy stores.
