EEMA organises student contest to encourage young talent
The contest will give youngsters an opportunity to work with industry masters and see the events and entertainment world through their lens
In a bid to help students, who aspire to be a part of the events industry, see and learn from leading industry stalwarts, EEMA (Event and Entertainment Management Association) has returned with a contest for students.
EEMA shall select 25 students out of all the participants who shall be sponsored to attend the 2013 convention.
EEMA was established in 2008 as an effort to unite and stand up for the events and entertainment industry. As an initiative to stage and solve the issues faced by the industry and recognise ground-breaking work, EEMA gave birth to its now prestigious properties – EEMAGINE and EEMAX.
Convention 2013 is being hosted in the pink city this year. EEMAGINE 2013 and EEMAX awards will be organised in Jaipur this year in September. In its sixth edition, EEMAGINE will witness magic created by industry stalwarts such as Robert Norman, Music Agent, CAA; Roshan Abbas, MD, Encompass Events; Brian Tellis, Founder, Fountain Head Promotions and Events and President, EEMA, among many others.
EEMAX has 26 categories this year, out of which three categories are open for public poll. All the entries will have to pass through a comprehensive judging process. The jury panel consists of industry veterans such as Ajay Kakkar, CMO, Aditya Birla Group – Financial Services; Jyotsna Makkarcmo, Microsoft India; K Ramakrishnan, President - Marketing, Café Coffee Day; Nalin Kapoor, Senior GM and Group Head – Marketing, Hyundai Motor India; Raj Nayak, CEO, Colors – Viacom18; Ravi Bharadwaj, Executive Director – Marketing, Dell India; Tarun Katial, CEO, Reliance Broadcast Network; and Tushar Vyas, Managing Partner – South Asia, GroupM.
