Cannes 2016: India sees 7 entries shortlisted in Film Lions
Entries from BBDO India/Red Ice Films, Ogilvy & Mather, Law & Kenneth Saatchi & Saatchi/Lightbox Films, Leo Burnett and Publicis Communications make it to the Film Lions shortlist
The shortlists for Film Lions were announced today. India saw a total of 7 entries in this category.
BBDO India and Red Ice Films saw their film ‘Dad’s Share The Load’ for Procter & Gamble receive two nominations in the shortlist.
This was matched by Ogilvy & Mather, who saw their entries, ‘How to Apply Eyeliner’ and ‘How to Get Perfect Red Lips’, for the Make Love Not Scars foundation make it to the shortlist.
Law & Kenneth Saatchi & Saatchi and Lightbox Films’ work for Thomas Cook also made it to the shortlist. Leo Burnett’s “Sons of Vikrant” film for Bajaj Motorcycles and Publicis Communications’ “A Giant’s Story” for Ambuja Cement are the other two entries from India in the shortlist.
Meanwhile, BBDO India’s campaign “Dads#Share The Load” for Procter & Gamble India was the lone shortlist in Entertainment Lions.
The winners in this category will be announced on June 25, 2016.
