MTS India appoints Brandmovers India as its social media agency
The appointment comes on the back of a multi-stage pitch process that took place in Delhi. The account size is pegged at around Rs 40 crore
Brandmovers has bagged the social media account of MTS India. The appointment comes on the back of a multi-stage pitch process that took place in Delhi and saw participation from digital full-service agencies such as Hungama Digital, MRM Worldwide and specialist social agencies such as Drizzlin, Social Wavelength and 2020. The account size is pegged at around Rs 40 crore.
As part of their renewed long-term focus on digital as a platform, MTS was keen to utilise the capabilities of the platform to the fullest. Brandmovers has been tasked with the mandate to power MTS’ social media strategy and leverage the brand’s increasing association with specific entertainment spaces to build a stronger branded content play. The agency will be required to carry out functions social media management, social media advertising, content creation for all platforms over digital.
Commenting on the association, Leonid Musatov, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer, MTS India said, “We wanted a fresh focus and renewed energy from our social media team to be able to mutually create content that engages our audience. We were looking for an interactive agency with an innate understanding of the social space and its underlying principles that could help us build the right platforms, programs and digital content.” He added, “In Brandmovers, we see a shared passion for the digital space, emphasis on innovation, and desire to create clutter breaking content.”
The social media pitch was the first step of the comprehensive digital revamp being undertaken at MTS as part of the new digital strategy being rolled out by the company.
