McCain assigns creative duties to Law & Kenneth
The agency has been mandated to build awareness of the McCain brand in India through an integrated brand communication approach across all touch points
McCain Foods India, the Indian subsidiary of McCain Foods Canada, has signed on Law & Kenneth as its new creative Agency on Record (AoR). The agency has been mandated to build awareness of the McCain brand in India by developing and implementing an integrated brand communication approach across all touch points.
On awarding the business to Law & Kenneth, Vikas Mittal, Managing Director, McCain Foods India said, “We see a big opportunity in making McCain a part of the food basket of Indian household and see the Law & Kenneth team as a key partner in creating the communication platform for achieving this goal.”
Gunjan Pandey, General Manager - Marketing, McCain Foods India added here, “We wanted to partner with agency that had the required innovative approach to tap into consumer insights in order to create deeper connections with consumers. Law & Kenneth won the multi-agency pitch on the basis of their strong consumer insights and creative direction.”
McCain’s range of products available in India includes frozen products such as French Fries, Super Wedges, Smiles, Rosti Rounds; Indian ethnic specialties such as Aloo Tikki, Idli Sambar, Chill Garlic Potato Bites, Potato Cheese Shotz, Veggie Nuggets, Veggie Burger Patties and imported cheese appetizers. The current McCain campaigns feature actor Karisma Kapoor as the brand ambassador.
