Tamil Nadu GECs see ratings spike in week 10

In week 10 (March 1 – 7, 2015), the Tamil Nadu market and Kannada market were the only regional markets which saw a rise in ratings during the week.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers CS4+ market, in the Bihar & Jharkhand market Big Magic Ganga declined to 2261 GVTs this week from 2365 GVTs in the previous week. Mahuaa Plus saw its ratings increase to 1278 GVTs in week 10 from 1122 GVTs in week 9. Anjan increased to 904 GVTs in week 10 from 666 GVTs in week 9. Mahuaa too saw its ratings rise to 768 GVTs this week from 646 GVTs last week. Dabangg UP UTKD Bihar saw its ratings decline to 236 GVTs this week from 258 GVTs last week.

In the Bengali GEC market, Star Jalsha declined to 99,543 GVTs in week 10 from 100,948 GVTs in week 9. Zee Bangla too declined to 76,098 GVTs this week from 81,658 GVTs in the previous week. ETV Bangla saw its ratings marginally rise to 25,887 GVTs in week 10 from 24,930 GVTs in week 9. Aakaash Aath saw its ratings rise this week to 14,696 GVTs from 14,180 GVTs last week. Rupashi Bangla’s ratings on the other hand declined to 2211 GVTs this week from 1722 GVTs in week 9.

In the Tamil Nadu market, Sun TV declined marginally to 206,571 GVTs this week from 216,150 GVTs in week 9. Vijay saw its ratings drop to 84,469 GVTs in week 10 from 90,069 GVTs in week 9. Zee Tamil’s ratings increased in week 10 to 24,385 GVTs from 21,000 GVTs in week 9. Raj TV’s ratings on the other hand saw an increase during this week to 20,371 GVTs from 18,909 GVTs in week 9. Kalaignar TV increased this week to 20,022 GVTs from 17,989 GVTs in week 9. Jaya TV increased to 13,001 GVTs in week 10 from 11,931 GVTs in week 9. Mega TV increased to 5566 GVTs in week 10 from 4964 GVTs in week 9. Captain TV declined marginally to 4162 GVTs in week 10 from 4413 GVTs in week 9.

In the Maharashtra market, Zee Marathi saw its ratings rise to 147,190 GVTs this week from 152,047 GVTs in week 9. ETV Marathi too saw an increase in ratings this week to 52,455 GVTs from 49,906 GVTs in week 9. Star Pravah’s ratings declined in week 10 to 48,574 GVTs from 51,124 GVTs in week 9. Mi Marathi increased to 11,194 GVTs in week 10 from 10,785 GVTs in week 9.

Udaya in the Karnataka market increased during week 10 to 78,897 GVTs from 68,402 GVTs in week 9. ETV Kannada increased to 56,769 GVTs in week 10 from 53,460 GVTs in week 9. Suvarna on the other hand declined to 45,833 GVTs this week from 47,679 GVTs last week. Zee Kannada declined to 30,289 GVTs in week 10 from 33,064 GVTs in week 9. Kasturi saw its ratings rise to 8106 GVTs from 6828 GVTs last week.

Among the Andhra Pradesh market Gemini saw its ratings dip a little during the week to 107,834 GVTs from 108,013 GVTs last week. Maa decreased to 91,233 GVTs in week 10 from 95,444 GVTs in week 9. Zee Telugu increased to 83,735 GVTs from 79,694 GVTs last week. ETV decreased to 79,015 GVTs in week 10 from 82,710 GVTs in week 9. Vissa decreased to 117 GVTs this week from 324 GVTs last week.

In the Kerala market, Asianet increased to 54,166 GVTs in week 10 from 52,390 GVTs in week 9. Surya increased to 14,428 GVTs this week from 13,104 GVTs last week. Mazhavil Manorama brought in ratings of 12,783 GVTs in week 10. Asianet Plus increased to 5848 GVTs in week 10 from 5170 GVTs in week 9. Kairali declined its ratings this week to 4796 GVTs from 5003 GVTs last week. Amrita decreased marginally to 2248 GVTs this week from 2506 GVTs during last week.
