BARC Ratings: Colors bounces back to the top spot in week 51

In week 51 (December 19-25, 2015) Colors’ pushed Zee Anmol to the second spot to be the No.1 channel with 725 million ratings. The third spot went to Star Plus followed by Zee TV. Star Utsav  remained at no.5 like last week.

Colors’ with almost a consistent rating of 725 million in week 51 secured the top position among all the Hindi GECs in week 51.

Last week’s top channel, Zee Anmol came down to No.2 this week as it witnessed a decline in the ratings from 752 million to 712 million.

Star Plus remained at No.3 with 676 million ratings, less than last week’s 707 million.

The fourth spot went to Zee TV which garnered 669 million ratings. The channel had 677 million ratings last week.

Star Utsav retained its fifth position the chart, the channel witnessed a rise in the ratings from 506 million to 514 million this week.

The next two spots were acquired by Life OK and Sony Entertainment Television respectively. Life OK had 437 million ratings. Sony Entertainment Television had saw a decline in the ratings from 365 million to 342 million in week 51.

The last three spots witnessed no change in the positions. Sony SAB, Rishtey and Sony Pal remained acquired eighth, ninth and tenth spots respectively.  Sony SAB fetched 323 million ratings, last week it had 328 million ratings. Rishtey saw a rise in the ratings from 272 million to 286 million this week. Sony Pal garnered 239 million ratings.
