Given Singapore's importance on the Asia-Pacific marketing radar, the MindShare group of companies in Singapore has decided to become the first media services group to set up an analytics cell in the island-nation.
Advanced Techniques Group (ATG ) is the group's analytics wing, the main goal of which will be to help Singapore clients to maximise return on investment and determine future strategies, using econometric and statistical analysis.
"Within the MindShare group we have been passionately involved in this field, as we are in the business of providing accountable media investment management services to our clients," said Singapore's MindShare Group CEO Manpreet Singh.
"In our effort to reliably partner our clients in their marketing initiatives, we have pinpointed data analytics as a key offering in our service portfolio."
The ATG unit is headquartered in New York and from March 31, 2005, ATG have opened its newest branch in Singapore situated out of the MindShare Group offices.
Navaneeta Das, an experienced media planner and ex-director of ATG's Mumbai unit, will be heading the new Singapore unit. Navaneeta brings with her seven years of experience in media planning, buying and analytics and will be using the MindShare Group's significant client base to make inroads into the high-potential data analytics market in Singapore.
