Top 50 Influential Women list to be unveiled

This year, Women’s Day specifically marks the growth of many inspiring women to pivotal roles in businesses across industries. From moving up the corporate ladder with spirit and gumption, risking their lives to write about subjects such as corruption and war, setting up their own business–be it in television, advertising or the public relations domain; women are unmistakably making their presence felt with aplomb. The role of women in the Indian media industry is at the cusp of a new beginning.

Taking this thought forward, Impact magazine from the exchange4media group has undertaken an initiative to recognise and acknowledge the immense contribution, inspiring leadership and remarkable body of work of 50 trail-blazing women professionals from the Indian Media, Advertising and Marketing world.

To rank the achievers and create this list, an elaborate selection process involving a high-powered jury was conducted.

The jury was chaired by Sam Balsara, Chairman of Madison World. Other jury members were Colvyn Harris, CEO, JWT India; Arvind Sharma, Chairman and CEO, Leo Burnett India; Shashi Sinha, CEO Lodestar UM and media veteran Pradeep Guha. This list of the top 50 influential women will be unveiled in a special edition at a ground event. The said event will take place on March 19 at Tote, Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai.
