Share gets a makeover, the cricket portal from Web 18, has been revamped and now sports a new look along with new content and features. This apart, the portal has roped in Sandeep Patil and Dr Narottam Puri for exclusive columns and has also improved the ‘Stats Genie’, which will now be available on the site with increased emphasis on providing superior access to data spanning 131 years of cricket history.

Speaking about the revamped site, Surya Mantha, CEO, Web18, said, “The new look Cricketnext revolves around superior content, speed of the site and scorecard, and providing a robust interactive platform for a cricket lover to share his/her voice with the cricketing fraternity. The 360-degree integration with mobile, TV and online provides access to best of multimedia content in a device agonistic environment. Going forward, we plan to build and introduce more unique propositions which deliver greater value to the fans of the game.”

An official communiqué from the portal noted that increased in-depth content and live coverage from the ground were the two latest offerings on the site, which not only helped users experience live action from the cricket ground exclusively on the site, but also capture the energy in and around the host city.

“The site has been launched with greater integration with Network18, the largest media network in the country. Seamless integration with Network18 properties like TV, mobile and online has given 360-degree access to possible, truly making engagement with the site device independent,” the communiqué further stated.
