According to our sources, Rohan Kanchan, an experienced communications specialist, business leader, and the present Managing Director of Weber Shandwick is planning to bid goodbye to the organisation. He has been with Weber Shandwick for over a decade and was leading the organisation as the Managing Director of Corporate Consulting & Communications Strategy in India.
Our sources say that this news follows the major departure news of Valerie Pinto, CEO, Weber Shandwick. Kanchan was expected to be the frontrunner for the CEO role, but now he too is planning to exit, leaving Shashikant Someshwaran and Karan Bhandari as the remaining Managing Directors. There is still no official update on Kanchan’s next role, and the company has yet to release a formal statement regarding the leadership transition.
