Seasoned communications leader Rikki Jones joins biopharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca as Head of Communications, International & EUCAN, after a long stint of nearly 16 years at global communications firms GCI Health and Burson. She will be relocating from Singapore to Dubai for the new role.
Jones shared the news in a LinkedIn post, describing the move and expressed gratitude for her journey through multiple leadership roles and agency transformations. In her post, she underscored, “Thank you to the brilliant bosses, teammates and clients I’ve had the privilege to journey with, through GCI Health’s evolution from a US-only footprint to a global presence, the C&W to BCW to Burson transformation, and my own move from the UK to Singapore.”
Having worked closely with AstraZeneca as a partner over the years, she said she is enthusiastic about joining the biopharmaceutical giant, “I’m excited to soon be part of their future-focused Corporate Affairs agenda and the difference it’s making to health outcomes where that impact matters most.”
Throughout her journey, she held positions at well-known agencies including Cohn & Wolfe, Red Door Communications, Edelman, and Weber Shandwick.
