Zydus Healthcare Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zydus Lifesciences Ltd, has appointed Swati Dalal as its new Managing Director and Additional Director. With over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Dalal has been appointed in a full-time capacity for a tenure of five years. Her appointment marks a significant addition to the Zydus Group's executive leadership as it positions itself for sustained growth and innovation in the healthcare sector.
Prior to this appointment, Dalal served as the Managing Director of Abbott India Ltd, where she held several pivotal positions, including Commercial Director – Sales & Marketing and Head of Business Development & Commercial Excellence. She began her career at Wockhardt Ltd. and subsequently joined Boots, navigating through its evolution via Knoll, Solvay, and Abbott.
Dalal holds a degree in pharmacy from PKM Kundnani College of Pharmacy and a postgraduate degree in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai.
