Open AI's Uday Ruddarraju has been elevated as the Chief Technology Officer, Compute.
He was earlier Head of Compute and Infrastructure.
Ruddarraju joined OpenAI in July 2025 after stepping down as Head of Infrastructure Engineering at xAI.
Prior to that, he was with financial services firm Robinhood for nearly 7 years and with eBay from 2013 to 2018.
