Senior journalist Ashok Singhal has begun a new role with the Hindi news channel News24. According to sources, he has joined as a Consulting Editor and will be responsible for input.
Ashok Singhal ended his nearly 18-year tenure at Aaj Tak just a few months ago. He joined the news channel in July 2008 and served as Managing Editor (Politics).
Ashok Singhal, a resident of the Narwana area of Jind, Haryana, has nearly 34 years of media experience. He entered the media industry with the newspaper Jansatta. Later, Singhal joined the newspaper Rashtriya Sahara and then entered the television world, spending a few months at NDTV. He then worked with Zee News for nearly 12 years, then joined Aaj Tak and has now joined News24.
