Mihir Karkare, Managing Director at Mirum India: A VML Company, has announced that he is moving on. Karkare took to LinkedIn and announced his departure.

“Almost 16 years after starting Social Wavelength / Mirum India: A VML Company, it's time for change. I'm moving on from my role as Managing Director at Mirum and starting something new in 2025. The last 16 years have been extremely gratifying and I'm moving on with tonnes of memories, several milestones achieved, and learnings for a lifetime. I'm grateful for all the opportunities I got, the fantastic work we did, and most importantly for the great relationships we built at Mirum”, he stated in his LinkedIn post.

Mirum India (formerly Social Wavelength) is a digital agency. As part of the global Mirum network, the company delivers digital solutions for brands.

Mihir Karkare Co-founded Social Wavelength (now Mirum India) in 2009. Social Wavelength was later acquired by WPP.

Karkare was with the company for close to 16 years. According to his LinkedIn profile, he has been associated with the company since April 2009 and held the role of Cofounder and EVP till February 2024. Later, Karkare was elevated to Managing Director.
