- M&C Saatchi Group ANZ has appointed Simon Wassef as the Group Chief Strategy Officer, a newly created role to enhance strategic and creative leadership in the region.
- Wassef previously served as Chief Strategy and Experience Officer at Clemenger BBDO, where he developed brand platforms for various notable clients.
- He expressed enthusiasm for his new position, emphasizing his commitment to building teams and capabilities for client success.
- Wassef's appointment completes the leadership team at M&C Saatchi Group ANZ, which is led by CEO Dani Bassil, and he will start in the new role in the upcoming year.
M&C Saatchi Group ANZ has appointed Simon Wassef as Group Chief Strategy Officer, a newly created position aimed at strengthening the company’s strategic and creative leadership across Australia and New Zealand.
Simon joins the group after serving as Chief Strategy and Experience Officer at Clemenger BBDO for the past two years, where he worked on building integrated and effective brand platforms for clients such as HCF, Great Northern Brewing Company, Solo Energy, Hard Rated, Carlton Dry, MYER, Samsung, the TAC, and the Federal Government.
Speaking about his new role, Simon Wassef said, “I build teams and capabilities for modern businesses that want to win. Simon’s appointment completes the M&C Saatchi Group leadership team in Australia and New Zealand, led by CEO Dani Bassil. He will collaborate closely with the senior leadership, including Group Chief Creative Officer Emma Robbins, Managing Director Tanya Vragalis, Chief Marketing Officer Anita Zanesco, Managing Partner – Passions & PR Rhian Mason, and Managing Director of M&C Saatchi Consulting and Re, Ben Harrison.

Simon will officially assume his new role at M&C Saatchi Group ANZ in the new year.
