Lowe India appoints Brent Gosling as Chief Strategic Officer for Unilever brands
Lowe India has announced the appointment of Brent Gosling as Chief Strategic Officer for the agency’s Unilever brands. He will be based in Mumbai and will be responsible for providing strategic planning for global Unilever brands.

Lowe India has announced the appointment of global planner, Brent Gosling, as Chief Strategic Officer for the agency’s Unilever brands. Gosling will be based in Mumbai and will be responsible for providing strategic planning for global Unilever brands like Lifebuoy, Fair & Lovely, Clinic Plus and Surf Excel, for which Lowe India is the global/regional hub.
Expressing his delight on the appointment of a global planner, Pranesh Misra, President and COO, Lowe India, remarked, “We found Brent through a long worldwide search for a top quality planner. In addition to his role on Unilever, as the Chief Strategy Officer, Brent would be leading the 22-strong planning community at Lowe India.”
In his previous assignments, Gosling was head of Gosling Research Ltd, a boutique research agency specialising in brand positioning, strategy and communications.
Some of the company’s key clients included ASDA, BSkyB, Burger King, ICI Dulux, Kimberly Clark (Andrex), Mastercard, Masterfoods (Whiskas), Maureen (118 212) and Nestle (Buxton), among others.
In his additional capacity as Partner at HHCL and Partners, Gosling was responsible for AA & AA Insurance and its de-mutualisation. He has also reportedly won the first APG Creative Planning Awards, Gold & Grand Prix, Nik Naks, in 1993 and the IPA Advertising Effectiveness Awards, Second Prize, Radion, 1990.
