Lori Conkling has been appointed as Head of Film and TV Licensing at Netflix. Conkling will be based in the US. She took to LinkedIn and announced her new role at Netflix.
“After six amazing years at YouTube, I have taken on the role of Head of Licensing at Netflix, overseeing content acquisition for TV & Film content in the U.S. I am excited to join this incredible team and look forward to continuing to find ways to super serve our members. I have relocated to Los Angeles, so please shoot me a note if you find yourself in town”, she stated in her LinkedIn post.
Prior to this, Lori Conkling was with YouTube as Global Head of TV, Film and Sports Partnerships were she used to oversee programming, packaging and business development for YouTube TV and YouTube's AVOD, SVOD, TVOD and FAST services. She also oversees Sports licensing and was a key architect of the Sunday Ticket deal with the NFL.
In her previous stints, Lori Conkling has worked with Google, NBCUniversal, among others.
