GTPL Hathway MD Anirudhsinh Jadeja appointed new President of AIDCF

Jadeja takes over from S N Sharma, CEO of DEN Networks, whose tenure as President of the Federation has concluded

All India Digital Cable Federation (AIDCF), the apex body representing digital cable television operators across India, has announced the appointment of Anirudhsinh Jadeja, Managing Director of GTPL Hathway Limited, as its new President.

Jadeja takes over the reins from S N Sharma, CEO of DEN Networks Limited, whose tenure as President of the Federation has concluded.

The Federation also elected Sankaranarayana, Vice Chairman of Asianet Satellite Communications Limited, as the new Vice President.

Additionally, Sanjay Goyal, Group Chief Financial Officer of Fastway Transmissions Pvt. Ltd., has been elected as Treasurer.

Reflecting on his term, outgoing President SN Sharma expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve during a transformative phase in the industry.

“It has been a privilege to serve as the President of AIDCF during a pivotal phase for the digital cable TV industry. I am proud of the collective strides we’ve made in representing and voicing the sector’s concerns with clarity and conviction. As I hand over the baton, I have full confidence that Mr. Jadeja will lead the Federation with vision and determination. I wish him and the entire AIDCF team continued success,” Sharma said.

Commenting on his new role, Jadeja said, “I am deeply honoured by the trust reposed in me by the AIDCF members. As President, I look forward to working closely with all stakeholders to uphold the Federation’s legacy, enhance industry collaboration, and proactively engage with policymakers to build a stronger, more inclusive future for the digital cable TV sector.”

Manoj Chhangani, Secretary General of AIDCF, extended his appreciation for Sharma’s leadership and welcomed the new leadership team.

Mr. Sharma’s tenure has been marked by strategic foresight, collaborative spirit, and tireless dedication to the digital cable TV sector. We also welcome the newly elected leadership team Anirudhsinh Jadeja as President, Sankaranarayana as Vice President, and Sanjay Goyal as Treasurer.

“With this experienced and dynamic team at the helm, AIDCF is poised to strengthen its role as a unifying voice for the industry. Under their stewardship, we remain committed to advancing innovation, resilience, and equitable growth across the digital cable television ecosystem,” he said.

As the Managing Director of GTPL Hathway Limited, Jadeja has played a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of the company and the wider digital cable landscape. With over 30 years of experience in the cable and broadcasting sector, he has been with GTPL since its inception and is recognized as one of the first-generation entrepreneurs in the field.

Supporting Jadeja in his leadership role is Sankaranarayana, the newly elected Vice President of AIDCF and Vice Chairman of Asianet Satellite Communications Limited. With more than three decades of rich and varied professional experience, Sankaranarayana has been instrumental in the growth and technological advancement of Asianet since joining the company in 2006. Prior to this, he held significant positions in organizations such as ITW Signode, HMT Limited, and Hathway Investments Private Limited, amassing 11 years of strategic leadership experience.

He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University, a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.
