Gaurav Jain, the Chief Business Officer of ShareChat & Moj, is moving on from the company. The news has been shared by Jain in a LinkedIn post.
“Today, we shared internally that I’ll be moving on from ShareChat and Moj in the coming weeks. This transition has been in the works for sometime, and I’ll still be around for a bit longer before taking up a new challenge,” he wrote in a post.
Talking about his next move, Jain wrote, “As for what’s next— I'm going from Bharat to Pan-Asian. More on that soon.”
Jain was elevated as Chief Business Officer in November 2023. He joined the company in October 2022.
Prior to that, he was Head of APAC Business Expansion at Snap Inc. He was responsible for monetization of Snapchat in India and emerging APAC markets of SEA, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Before joining ShareChat, Jain was with Google's APAC agency business. He was earlier with Meta India's Mid-Market business and also headed Snap's entire APAC business.
At ShareChat, Jain will be building the short-form video monetization narrative in the country.
