Freddy Bharucha has been appointed the CEO of P&G Beauty, effective December 1.
He is currently President, Global Personal Care and North America Beauty Operations.
As per media reports, Bharucha will be based in Geneva, Switzerland, the base of P&G’s Europe headquarters.
Meanwhile, Alex Keith will retire as the CEO for P&G’s beauty division on February 20.
Bharucha has leadership experience in nearly every region of P&G and has been working in the beauty industry for over 20 years.
He has led P&G's skin care and personal care businesses in China and the hair care businesses in North America and Asia.
Prior to his current global leadership role, Freddy led North America Personal Care, enabling portfolio-wide growth across brands like Old Spice, Secret and Safeguard, as well as the expansion of Native into new channels and segments, the company has mentioned in its leadership profiles.
