Fintech startup Aspora has appointed Varun Sridhar as CEO to lead its wealth management and lending business. 

Varun Sridhar, who previously served as CEO of Paytm Money and Paytm Services, brings over two decades of experience across digital banking, retail finance and fintech transformation.

At Aspora, he will focus on scaling global wealth products, strengthening the cross-border banking stack, and expanding the company’s footprint across the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Varun brings over two decades of experience in financial services and digital banking. Most recently, he served as CEO of Paytm Money and Paytm Services, where he led the platform from launch to profitability. His career spans leadership roles at BNP Paribas, Citibank, and Deutsche Bank, giving him deep expertise in retail banking, wealth management, and fintech growth across multiple markets.
