ET NOW’s Ankur Mishra joins ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India as Sr Lead – Media Relations

Ankur Mishra has been appointed as Senior Lead – Media Relations at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, based in Mumbai.
He transitions to corporate communications after over five years at ET NOW, where he served as Senior News Editor and Chief of Bureau.
Mishra has nearly two decades of journalism experience, including roles in business news gathering, reporting, and editorial management.
Prior to ET NOW, he held positions at The Financial Express and BTVI, and began his career with an internship at Zee News in 2006.

Ankur Mishra has joined ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) as Senior Lead – Media Relations. He will be based in Mumbai.

Mishra moves to the corporate communications space after spending more than five years at ET NOW. He was appointed Senior News Editor and Chief of Bureau in January 2025, after serving as Deputy News Editor at the business news channel for over three years.

With nearly two decades of experience in journalism, Mishra has worked across business news gathering, reporting, research, production, editorial planning and newsroom management.

Before ET NOW, he was associated with The Financial Express as Assistant Editor. He also spent more than nine years at BTVI, holding positions including Deputy News Editor, News Producer and Associate Producer.

Mishra had earlier worked with CNBC Awaaz as an Assistant Producer, where his responsibilities included developing story ideas, coordinating with reporters and contributing to reporting assignments. He began his media career with an internship at Zee News in 2006.
