Dimitri Kontopidis has joined The Walt Disney Company as Executive Director of Technology Strategy & Operations for Disney Entertainment & ESPN. He took to LinkedIn to announce his new role at the company.
Kontopidis said he is excited to partner with Adam Smith as they look to pair Disney’s world-class storytelling with fantastic products that bring joy to users around the world.
In his LinkedIn post he wrote, “I’m thrilled to share that after 9 years at YouTube / Google, I have joined The Walt Disney Company as Executive Director of Technology Strategy & Operations for Disney Entertainment & ESPN”.
Prior to this, Dimitri Kontopidis was with YouTube for over 9 years. He last held the role of Sr. Principal, Strategy at the company.
Dimitri has 10+ years of experience at YouTube, and PwC / Strategy& in roles spanning across Strategy, Finance, and Operations. He is currently a Principal within YouTube's Strategy, Analytics, and Finance group (SAF), which rolls up to Alphabet's CFO.
