Cavinkare has been streamlining its business functions and has recently made a few appointments as part of the revamping process. Earlier, the company had appointed Anupam Dutta as Vice President, Marketing and, now in a more significant move, it has roped in Satish Mane, who was serving Britannia as the General Manager, Sales & Marketing, Bakery.
While KS Ramesh is the CEO of Personal Care, Satish Mane will take care of the Foods Division as the chief executive. Dwelling on the development, S Jagdish, Head, Retail and Corporate Communications, said, “Recently there has been an internal restructuring and now we have three strategic business units responsible for the businesses of personal care, food and exports. This has been done to bring in sharper business focus and drive growth.”
The Rs 264-crore FMCG major has a wide array of product variants in the categories of hair care, personal care and skin care. Chik, Fairever and Nyle are some of the major brands from the CavinKare stable. The company has recently forayed into the foods segment by taking over Ruchi pickles for Rs 15 crore.
