Tony Joseph, Editor of Businessworld, is set to move into another role as CEO and Co-Founder of Mindworks Global Media Services. As far as his role within ABP Group is concerned, Joseph clarified, “My role at ABP is being discussed in detail and would be clear in few days time.”
Commenting on his move, he said, “It is not an overnight decision to move as I have been associated with Mindworks for past two years, and have now felt that I need to spend more time with the company.”
Jehangir Pocha, who was representing Businessworld in China, has been brought in as the new Editor. It is learnt that Prosenjit Datta, Executive Director of Businessworld, will also handle a different portfolio within ABP Group. Sources reveal that Datta will be Consulting Editor for Businessworld and play a role at Telegraph too.
Businessworld President and ABP group Chief Marketing Officer Vikas Gupta called these moves as a part of the ‘brand process’. He clarified, “The editorial and business are two independent pillars at ABP and I would not like to comment on these moves.”
However, he later added, “I want to clarify that none of the mentioned names are quitting the ABP Group but will be associated with the Group in different roles.”For more updates, be socially connected with us on
