Benjamin Joe named Meta's new Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific

Benjamin Joe, who led Meta as the Vice President - South East Asia And Emerging Markets, has been elevated to Regional Vice President, APAC. He announced his new role through a LinkedIn post.

“Thrilled to share the next step in my journey as I take on the role of Meta's new Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific”, he said in his LinkedIn post.

“Since joining Meta in 2011, I've had the privilege of working in multiple leadership roles across different markets, from the global headquarters in the United States to offices in Korea and Southeast Asia. The APAC region is vibrant, diverse, and full of opportunities. I'm committed to driving innovation and transformative growth for our clients and partners alongside Meta's talented teams”, his post read.

Benjamin Joe succeeds Dan Neary, who was with Meta for over 12 years.

In a LinkedIn post, Neary stated, “I’m delighted to share that Benjamin Joe has been appointed as my successor, taking on the role of Meta's new Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific in July”.

Ben is a global technology leader with over 23 years of experience architecting and executing growth strategies for technology-driven businesses across Asia and the US. His expertise lies in scaling complex operations, building world-class teams, and navigating intricate global markets to deliver significant revenue acceleration and market expansion.

Ben is a 14-year Meta veteran and currently leads the company's business in Southeast Asia. He started his journey at Meta in new business development with the Growth team in the United States and was previously Country Director for Korea.

Prior to joining Meta, Ben worked at McKinsey & Company and IBM.
