Journalist Avnish Kumar Mishra has rejoined Dainik Jagran as Chief Reporter in Lucknow. He was earlier working in Dainik Bhaskar (Digital), from where he recently resigned.
Avnish Kumar Mishra, who returned to Dainik Jagran, wrote on social media that some journeys never end, but rather begin anew with a new milestone. He added that he has returned to the Dainik Jagran family once again with the responsibility of Chief Reporter in Lucknow.
Describing Dainik Jagran not as an institution but as his home and family, he said that the old memories, learnings, and relationships associated with it have always been close to his heart. He is beginning his journey once again with new responsibilities, new energy, and new resolve. He said that returning to Dainik Jagran does not feel like returning, but rather like returning home, and prayed for God's continued blessings.
Mishra's career has been marked by a long association with Dainik Jagran. He worked as a reporter for Dainik Jagran from February 2015 to June 2019. He then served as a senior crime reporter for Dainik Jagran from June 2019, to January 2023.
He then served as Bureau Chief at Dainik Jagran, Sahibabad (Ghaziabad) from January 2023, to July 2024. He then served as Bureau Chief at Dainik Jagran, Noida/Greater Noida, from July 2024 to March 2025.
Later, Avnish Kumar Mishra worked as the Chief Sub-Editor at Dainik Bhaskar Digital from April 2025 to July 2026. Now, after leaving Dainik Bhaskar Digital, he has once again joined Dainik Jagran and will take on the responsibility of Chief Reporter in Lucknow.
